Ecostar Hexact 4000 Screener

The Hexact 4000 is a modular, industrial disc screen that uses Ecostar’s patented Dynamic Disc Screening (DDS) technology. This makes it ideal for plants needing high-performance material separation with a compact footprint and low energy use. The “4000” refers to the approximate working length of the screening surface (about 4 metres).

🔹 Dynamic Disc Screening (DDS) Technology

• Uses a series of hexagonal or octagonal disc shafts with a flat profile.

• Material moves in an up-and-down motion to improve separation and reduce clogging.

• Allows screening speed and cut-point (the size of material passing through) to be adjusted in real time.

🔹 Modular Design

• The screening unit consists of modular sections that can be combined to achieve the desired screening length and throughput.

• This modularity allows you to tailor the machine to site space and performance needs, and expand later if required.

🔹 Efficient and Low-Power Operation

• Typically powered by one or more 7.5 kW electric motors (depending on configuration).

• The efficient disc system enables lower overall power consumption compared to traditional screens.

🔹 Screening Capacity & Sizes

• Designs in this range (including the 4000) can process up to around 200 t/h of material, depending on material type and screen configuration.

• Typical screening aperture sizes range from 10 mm to 350 mm, giving flexibility for coarse or fine separation.
