Description

The Impact Air Systems Pneumatic Air Transfer System is used to transport lightweight waste materials through pipes using airflow rather than mechanical conveyors. It’s common in recycling plants, packaging facilities, and material recovery lines where waste needs to be moved from machines to a central collection point.

1. Heavy Duty Cyclone – Model HR14/1000

The cyclone separator removes material from the air stream.

How it works

  1. Air and waste enter the cyclone tangentially.
  2. The airflow spins rapidly.
  3. Centrifugal force pushes waste particles to the outer wall.
  4. Material falls down to the discharge outlet.

2. Cyclone Discharge Rotary Valve (1.5 kW Motor)

Located at the bottom of the cyclone.

Functions

  • Continuously discharges collected waste.
  • Maintains anairlock seal so conveying air does not escape.
  • Prevents air leakage that would reduce system efficiency.

The 1.5 kW motor drives the rotating pockets of the valve.

3. Heavy Duty Waste Handling Fan (15 kW Motor)

This fan provides the airflow that moves material through the ducting.

Role in the system

  • Createsnegative pressure in the pipes.
  • Pulls waste material through the ductwork.
  • Keeps the waste suspended in the air stream until separation.

4. Fully Automatic Reverse Jet Filter – Model ACF-T 78H

This is a dust filtration unit that cleans the air before it exits the system.

Key features

  • Reverse jet pulse cleaning:compressed air pulses clean the filter bags.
  • Dust falls into a 150-litre bin.
  • Maintains airflow efficiency and meets dust emission regulations.

5. Heavy-Duty Waste Conveying Ductwork

Industrial mild steel ducting connecting the system components various lengths & bends available.

6. Electrical Control Panel

Controls all equipment in the pneumatic system.

Includes control for:

  • Waste handling fan
  • Rotary valve
  • Reverse jet filter cleaning system
